Bold & Red… as it should be.
Coca-Cola launched a world-class amphitheater in the heart of the city.
Still think Birmingham is boring? That's just an urban myth.
🎶 Live Music and Shows for All Tastes
If you've just arrived in Birmingham, you may have heard that this city doesn't have much to offer.
But let me tell you something: that's not true anymore—if it ever was.
Today, Birmingham is buzzing with new energy, events on every corner, and stages that leave you speechless. And amidst all of them, the new Coca-Cola UNITED Amphitheater stands as a giant symbol of what's happening here: something big, bold... and very much alive.
🎤 Places you have to know (and experience)
Here are some of my favorites (save this list!):
Coca-Cola United Amphitheatre
The city's biggest new stage. Perfect for those concerts that make you sing at the top of your lungs with thousands of people. If there's a great show, it's probably here.
Iron City and Avondale Brewing
If you like good-vibe music and local beers, these two are perfect. There's always something playing, from local bands to awesome tributes.
The Lyric and Alabama Theatre
Just entering these theaters is an experience. They're restored classics with incredible architecture. Sometimes they feature concerts, sometimes movies, sometimes theater... but they're always magical.
Saturn, WorkPlay and Tin Roof
Smaller, closer. Here you can discover new artists in a relaxed atmosphere, with good food and friendly people.
🎼 Alys Stephens Center (UAB)
This is for lovers of art in all its forms: classical music, jazz, dance, theater... It's the cultural space par excellence on the UAB campus and one of the city's treasures.
🧡 And you know what the best part is?
Whether you're alone, with family, or with friends, there's always something playing somewhere in Birmingham.
Any given Saturday could end with a concert under the stars, a picnic with live music in the park, or a block party with a BBQ and a local DJ.
✨ My invitation:
Go out, explore, let yourself go.
BHAM is not boring—it's a city with soul, rhythm, and warmth.
And now that you've seen it with your own eyes...
You now have a better idea of the type of “boring” they were talking about, right? 😉🎶
